Beautiful photos and dishes, as always. And as usual, I am looking at this at lunch time. I think I'd wash a heck of a lot of dishes for you if I knew I could eat some of this... ;-} I'd love to try some of the recipes myself. Thanks for posting!

Hey Dan,
If you haven't posted this question to Kite Forum yet, then I would suggest you make your query there. I'm sure you'll get some good responses.
From what I've seen around here, it hasn't been a problem. One of the guys just bought a Naish bar for a Best kite.
You might check the 1:1/2:1 ratio and see if that could be a problem. I think all of the new kites are 1:1.

Help! I am traveling to Key West at the end of the month to do a 3 day kiteboarding weekend lesson at Kitehouse and need a few hours lesson in preparation for the trip. Do you conduct private lessons?
Please contact me at khaik@yahoo.com.
I am trying to get some instruction in before the oil hits the Pensacola area.
Thanks,
Kim
You too Mark! Saw you out the other day when I was teaching my friend Sandra and you were riding your flysurfer in Big Sabine Bay. That was one big kite! See you on the water soon. =)
Meagan/Travis/Philip/Neil/Neil's Wife,
Very nice to meet all of you and thanks for the warm welcome. Despite not getting out on the water, the drive out to the beach paid off. Looking forward to kiting with you next time. BRING ON THE WIND!
Probably the cheapest solution is to go to Walmart and buy a Coleman pump in the camping section. They cost around $8 and then you'll have a back up pump as well as a new hose.
I have been to the website you mentioned, but haven't dealt with them at all. The only online repair shop we have experience with is Air Time Kites: http://www.airtimekite.com/. They were great but we only used them because we have a warranty on our Eclipse Kima through Air Time.
The prognosis for Kimo is $$$. But, we just installed some sweet board racks so we can't part with him now!
Yes, we do have hammerhead sharks here which like to come into the shallows and for some reason that one reminded me of a mullet so I'm not getting out of the Gulf anytime soon. Watch out sharks, you aren't the only ones with fins! I think they have spotted some record breakers from the helicopters but this one was hard to see because the water was so churned up. I saw a big fin and a wide body, but I couldn't see it's entire length. Trust me, I didn't stick around too long to get a better look but rather went screaming back downwind. I couldn't believe it, I was SOOO angry because after about 20 passes up and down the beach I was FINALLY about to be out past the breakers. ARGGH!
Skeets,
Hey! It was nice meeting you and your brother. We're glad you were in town to ride the awesome wind we've been having this week. We do have some more photos of you that will be posted to the website soon. Maybe we'll drop by your way sometime and see how much you are enjoying your Underground board. =)
Take care!
Meagan

Tyler,
Hey! It was nice to meet you too =)
Congratulations on your upcoming marriage! That's awesome! We'll be looking forward to meeting Jill.
Glad to hear that you got some riding time. We went out after work and got a HUGE surprise. It was blowing about 10mph S when we arrived and it just kept gradually picking up until it was blowing over 20mph S. Ha! We do love our sunset sessions.
We love our Underground boards too but we are still figuring out the best size and combinations for our kites. Travis is loving the 135 FLX right now.
We'll send you invites to the Facebook Group (Pensacola Kiteboarding) and Twitter (Pensacolakiters).

Thank you Hannah! Be careful...I might take you up on that offer.
You're welcome!
I'm looking forward to your visit! I hope we get lots of wind while you are here!

Hey Karl,
Best place for beginners here is Big Sabine Bay. It's good on about any wind direction. Here is a link to our Google map of riding spots: Click HERE.

A friend just informed me that the little shells we were stepping on came from some type of planktonic shrimp.
I've also added a photo of them to the photo album above.
Hose for your Cabrinha Pump:

Hey Skeets,
I'll definitely give you a call tomorrow. What time is good for you? I'll be up early. Let me know what time you plan to be at the beach.
