Got a drysuit? Well, if you do, please avoid petroleum-based sunscreen.
In the photo, you can see what Travis's drysuit looked like when it was taken out of summer storage. According to Ocean Rodeo, our sunscreen was to blame. Other than that, we've taken very good care of our drysuits. We always rinse them in fresh water after a session, lubricate the zippers with paraffin wax, and apply 303 protectant to the latex seals on a regular basis. Fortunately, Travis was able to cut off the very tips of the seals and salvage them for another season.
