Clam Linguine

Ingredients: 

2 lbs clams
1 16 oz package linguine
½ cup olive oil
¼ cup white wine
14 oz can diced tomatoes
6 cloves garlic, chopped
Parsley to taste
Crushed red pepper to taste
Salt
Parmesan Cheese

Preparation: 
Start salted water boiling for pasta. Get all ingredients ready. Heat up olive oil in large saucepan on medium heat. Add 4 cloves garlic and crushed red pepper. Cook 30 sec. to 1 minute. Add pasta to boiling water. Add clams to saucepan and cook for about 1-2 minutes. Add parsley, white wine, and tomatoes. Turn heat up to med-high. Clams should start opening. About 2 minutes before the pasta is done, drain from water and add to saucepan with clams and sauce. Toss and add a little more olive oil, parsley, crushed red pepper, and remaining 2 cloves garlic. Serve immediately sprinkled with parmesan.

Awesome! Since we found this recipe we've made it numerous times. We've substituted periwinkles/cocina and mussles instead of the clams with great results.
