Kite Pulleys

Just thought I would let folks know that if you have problems with broken pulleys on your bar or Kite, you can usually find them at West Marina boat supplies. Mine were 9.00 a peice.
Turns out sand will gum up those pulleys, and the ones on your kite, and bar need to be cleaned, and maybe even treated with a dry lubricant every once in awhile... Who knew?
So I was out on my 14 Contra, and just landed a jump, but the kite didn't have any power as it dove down, so after waving it back and forth twice I realized something was wrong with the bridal. After landing the kite I found that a Ronston pully had let go. Turns out I was able to just push the bar and wheel back into the ronston pulley. After inspecting all the pulleys on my kite I turned to my Bar, and found the stearing pulley on the right was hardly turning, and sometimes catching the line witch made the bar sticky, and even created enouph tension to pull the closest bridal pulley apart. Then I noticed the right one had no wheel. I'm not even sure when or how that could happen, but the pully worked because the axle was still there, holding the line, but the wheel somehow is missing! It must have been crushed and just fallen off.
Anyhow I've now picked up some dry lubricant, and plan on inspecting the pulleys even few sessions. Anyone else had any pulley trouble, or have any idea who often they should be lubricated?

Thanks for the info on the
