Winter 2010 has arrived!

Our last session was almost two weeks ago on New Year’s Day.

January 1st brought riders from over an hour’s drive away to enjoy some of our favorite kiteboarding destinations. It was nice to meet some new faces and ride with friends that we don’t see often. What a way to celebrate the New Year……on the water. We had a blast riding with everyone and can’t wait for the next session! Although there has been wind in recent days, we have been hiding from the frigid temps and waiting from some warmer air and swell to lure us back to the beach. I never thought I would consider 40 degrees as “warming up.” Yeah, yeah, I know. You guys up there in Maine have icicles hanging from your hoods. But for us Floridians, a high in the 30’s isn’t what we would consider a pleasant day in the outdoors. We’re already watching the days grow longer and counting down to the spring season and the return of our sunset sessions.
