Fourth of July Weekend Blast

What a surprise! We had the best Fourth of July Weekend with winds blowing 15-25mph.

We missed a lot of the other riders as they rode earlier in the day and then left the beach for family gatherings. We did happen to catch a nice session with Phillip, Stephanie, and their friend and future kiteboarder Paul.

We were riding our 6m and 8m Airush Lithiums and our 5’4 and 5’8 Kipuna Freewaves for the majority of the weekend. The waves were fun, the water was beautiful, and there were very few tarballs on the beach. We’re sooo relieved to hear they have finally capped the oil leak in the Gulf! We are a bunch of happy kiteboarders right now!
